Kaokao Miso Paste
Crafted in small batches in Daylesford, Victoria, the Kaokao Miso paste range is made using mostly Australian ingredients with traditional Japanese techniques for that amazing depth of bold flavour and aroma.
The original miso is naturally fermented for 10 months and has a deep rich flavour. The sweet miso is made with fewer soybeans, salt and a higher rice-koji ratio, creating a nice sweetness and lighter flavour. The barley miso is fermented for over 13 months and has a deep and rich flavour but is still milder and slightly sweet. While the chickpea miso is rich in flavour and savoury taste with a nutty and starchy texture.
Approx 15-22 bowls of miso, depending on how strong you like your miso.
